| Yamaha RD350 (1982) This model is a companion to the Yamaha RD350 (1981) and represents the version sold in Canada in 1981, known as RD350J, code 4Y3: - dual front disc brakes - dual horns - round black mirrors - no belly pan or mini fairings - paint scheme was black with orange stripes This model was built during the 2020 14th Annual Model Build event organized through a Facebook group. Base Kit(s): Tamiya Yamaha RZ350 (kit number 14004) Finished: Jan 2020 Modifications/Additions: - Meng bolt heads used on both axles and steering head - mirrors from parts box - mirror faces were punched out of sheet styrene to bring flush with the back surface - wire wrapped around rear brake actuator rod - paint is Tamiya gloss black lacquer, decanted and airbrushed, Tamiya semi and flat black acrylics and Alclad elsewhere, airbrushed.
