Toyota 88C - 1989 Le Mans I built this car for our club's 2009 LeMans 24 hour build. The car did not finish and was driven by Didier Artzet of France and Kaoru Hoshino and Keiichi Suzuki from Japan. I only had about 14 hours to complete the model as I started the build late. I used the Hasegawa photoetch set, and did not use any of the the interior radiator grills because you can't really see them. Base Kit(s): Hasegawa Toyota 88C (kit number 20235) Finished: June 2009 Modifications/Additions: - Hasegawa photoetch brake discs, windshield wiper and rear wing end plates - Alclad aluminum and steel used on mechanical parts, Tamiya semi-gloss acrylic black airbrushed on other parts - body paint is Krylon Fusion white for body, straight from the can, red was a Tamiya acrylic red, using an airbrush Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
