Greg Moore's Player's Reynard
2009 marked the 10th anniversary of the death of Canadian race car driver Greg Moore.  I decided to build his version of the
Player's sponsored Reynard Indy car as a tribute. Indycals makes an excellent set of decals for the car.  Since there is no engine
in the kit, it was a pretty straightforward build.  I tried the two part Hiroboy clear coat and probably did not thin it enought.  The
model sat, almost complete until mid 2011 when I decieded to complete it the way it was.

Base Kit(s):   AMT Motorola Reynard (kit number 85-2339)

Finished:       July 2011

Modifications/Additions:
- front wings end plates removed, thinned down and replaced
- rear wing end plates replaced with 0.5 mm (0.020") sheet styrene
- front suspension was removed so that body seam could be filled in
- decals are from Indycals
- body paint is Tamiya acrylic blue (meant for RC bodies), chassis and suspension is Tamiya semi-gloss black acrylic, both applied
using and airbrush.
