| Morris Mini Cooper S Each year, my daughter in law chooses a model for me to build from my collection. This was her choice for 2022, to be done in yellow. Base Kit(s): Tamiya Morris Mini Cooper S (kit number 24014) Finished: November 2022 Modifications/Additions: - RB Motion turned aluminum intake trumpets - RB Motion spark plug boots - some minor additional wiring in engine - changed to left hand drive - flocking on floor - aftermarket Union Jack flag decal for roof - woodgrain steering wheel simulated with red brown, yellow and clear orange topcoat using Tamiya acrylics - paint is a Tamiya TS-16 yellow for the body - Acrylic grays airbrushed (XF-66 light gray and XF-19 sky gray) for interior, followed by semi-gloss clear to simulate the final material sheen Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
