James Bond 1969 Mercury Cougar convertible This is another car in my James Bond collection. This car appeared in the 1969 Bond film "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", the only film with George Lazenby in the title role. Diana Rigg also starred in the movie, as Bond's wife, the former Contessa Teresa (Tracy) di Vicenzo. There was a chase scene, where the bad guys were after James and Tracy, who were in a 1960 Cougar convertible, with skiis tied to the trunk. They ended up entering an ice race during the chase. The challenge for this model was converting the hardtop into a convertible and building the ski rack.
