| Firebird Funny Car I had this kit for a number of years, with the intent of placing it in a drag racing diorama. The funny car technology is from mid-1970's. Base Kit(s): MPC 1/25 scale Burnout Bird Finished: March 2005 Modifications/Additions: Oil, fuel, brake and electrical wiring Driver figure Scratchbuilt rear wing from sheet aluminum Slixx decals Front suspension modified to allow poseable wheels Paint is Tamiya racing white, shot through my airbrush, sanded, polished and waxed Awards: Ajax XXIV model show, October 2004, 2nd place, Straight Line Competition Click on Thumbnail to see detailed image.
