Yamaha YZR-M1 'Spiderman" GP bike
I'd had this model kit for a while and had gathered aftermarket parts and decals to do the Spiderman version ridden by Marco
Melandri in the 2004 Portuguese GP race.  I put together a build article that was sent out in parts to the members of our model
group, about a week apart.  The parts were put into one PDF file, which I may eventually publish on this web page

Base Kit(s):   Tamiya Yamaha YZR-M1 (kit number 14094)     

Finished:        January 2013

Modifications/Additions:
- joint springs added to exhaust pipes
- Tamiya metal fork detail accessories
- Top Studio gear shift linkage rod, resin cast clutch and axles
- Tuner Model Manufactory throttle cable connectors
- Lion Roar photoetch pieces (muffler hanger, tank logos, etc.)
- Hobby Design photoetch chainset
- Scale Hardware and Tuner Model Manufactory bolt heads
- Decals were from Crazy Modeler
- exhaust pipes were painted with Alclad chrome, over a black base, followed by transparent blue and orange
- Tamiya acylics for bodywork and frame
