1970 Mustang 'Boss 302' As a companion to the 2006 Boss 302 Mustang that I built, I thought a version of the original would be appropriate. It uses the same paint as the 2006 versions and was built pretty much as a curbside as well (no engine). Because the body was molded in orange, I decided to use a shellac-based primer known as BIN to stop any bleed through. However, the BIN paint didn't adhere very well to the plastic and chipped off in a number of places as I was doing final assembly and foiling. Next time I might try some Tamiya primer, BIN and then topcoat or use a clearcoat to seal the plastic. I used Keith Marks' decals for the stripes.
