1970 Mustang 'Boss 302'
As a companion to the 2006 Boss 302 Mustang that I built, I thought a version of the original would be appropriate.  It uses the
same paint as the 2006 versions and was built pretty much as a curbside as well (no engine).  Because the body was molded in
orange, I decided to use a shellac-based primer known as BIN to stop any bleed through.  However, the BIN paint didn't adhere
very well to the plastic and chipped off in a number of places as I was doing final assembly and foiling.  Next time I might try some
Tamiya primer, BIN and then topcoat or use a clearcoat to seal the plastic.

I used Keith Marks' decals for the stripes.  You can see pictures at

Modifications/Additions:
- added bare metal foil behind all running lights and chrome window trim
- paint is Tamiya Camel Yellow (airbrushed) followed by two coats of clear, (out of the can), then polished.
- black is Tamiya semi-gloss through an airbrush
- decals are 1970 Mustang Boss 302 from Keith Marks
