Honda RC211V 2006 Konica Minolta GP bike
Although I don't usually build a lot of Grand Prix motorcycles, I really liked the colour scheme of this model.  The model was built
pretty much out of the box, with a photoetch detail set from Crazy Modeller.  This was my first attempt at heat staining a complete
exhaust system and the results are not what I was hoping for.

Base Kit(s):   Tamiya Konica Minolta Honda RC211V '06 (kit number 14107)     

Finished:        April 2008

Modifications/Additions:
- photoetch details: rear brake disk, clutch plates, chain and sprockets, rear wheel chain adjusters, other small detail items
- joint springs added to exhaust pipes
- various bolt heads replaced with stainless steel and styrene replicas
- Tamiya front fork detail set
- additional carbon fibre decals
- additional brake line details on handlebars and wire wrapped around grips
- RB Motion details: tire valves added to wheels, brake bleeder added to rear master cylinder
- exhaust pipes were painted with Alclad chrome, over a black base, followed by transparent blue, orange, gold and smoke
- bellypan bodywork was painted blue with black paint fogged over top, instead of using decals
- Zero paints used for bodywork and wheels, Alclad and Tamiya for metallic colours additional wiring
